These terms apply to the online consultations Good Design Call (60 minutes) and Good Design Focus (30 minutes), hereinafter together “Calls”. The initial conversation is free of charge (see section 2). Separate, project-specific agreements apply to further design projects.

1. Scope and provider
These General Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) apply to all Calls by GOOD DESIGN – Avelina Stefanie Gut (hereinafter “GOOD DESIGN”). By booking a Call, clients accept these T&C.

2. Conclusion of contract and booking
Bookings are made online via the booking system or by email. The appointment is binding once payment has been received. No appointment for Calls is allocated without payment. GOOD DESIGN reserves the right to decline bookings in exceptional cases.
Free initial conversation
The free initial conversation is exempt from this. It is non-binding and serves to get to know each other and to clarify which offer suits your project. It does not replace a consultation, creates no payment obligation and does not commit you to any further assignment.
3. Scope of services
The Calls are time-limited 1:1 consultations via Zoom, in German or English:
- Good Design Call: 60 minutes. Answers to the client's questions about interior design, e.g. on floor plan, colour, light and material.
- Good Design Focus: 30 minutes. Answers to specific questions, e.g. on styling or buying decisions.
Depending on the questions, 3D sketches, a mood board, a material concept or a shopping list can be part of the Call. No specific content or scope is promised; the topics covered depend on the client's questions. Any sketches and documents from the call are sent by email afterwards. GOOD DESIGN does not owe any particular structural or economic result, but advice and design recommendations.
4. Delimitation of services
In particular, the following are not part of the Calls:
- detailed plans, technical drawings or photorealistic visualisations,
- architectural, structural or building services planning,
- implementation – all decisions on implementation lie with the client.
5. Prices and payment
The prices stated on the website at the time of booking apply. All prices are in euros including statutory VAT. Calls must be paid in full online in advance.
6. Rebooking and cancellation
Rebookings and cancellations are only possible by email to [email protected] :
- up to 24 hours before the appointment: free of charge (rebooking or cancellation),
- within 24 hours before the appointment: 100% of the price will be charged,
- No-show: 100% of the price; a refund is excluded.
If GOOD DESIGN has to postpone an appointment for good cause, a replacement appointment will be offered immediately. If no replacement appointment is possible, the amount paid will be refunded in full.
7. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (§ 11 FAGG). When booking an appointment within this period, clients expressly request that the Call be provided before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal lapses once the service has been fully provided (§ 18(1)(1) FAGG).
8. Client cooperation
For well-founded advice, clients send the relevant documents (floor plan, photos, measurements, questions) at least 24 hours before the appointment to [email protected]. GOOD DESIGN is not liable for the accuracy of the documents or for limitations caused by missing or late documents.
9. Vouchers and partner codes
Vouchers and partner codes are redeemed when booking by entering the code. The conditions and validity dates stated in each case apply. One code can be redeemed per booking. Cash redemption or refund of the voucher value is excluded.
10. Crediting
If a further project is commissioned from GOOD DESIGN within three months of a Good Design Call, the fee paid for the Call is fully credited towards the project. Crediting takes the form of a deduction from the price of the new service and does not constitute a refund. The Good Design Focus is not credited.
11. Rights of use and copyright
All ideas, recommendations, concepts, sketches and other content of the Calls remain the intellectual property of GOOD DESIGN. Clients receive a simple right of use exclusively for the property discussed. Without prior written consent, in particular passing on to third parties, commercial use, publication or reproduction, and use for other properties are not permitted.
GOOD DESIGN may use work created in the course of the Calls for presentation in its portfolio, on the website and on social media, exclusively in anonymised form without names, addresses or other personal data. Clients may object to such use at any time informally.
12. Liability
GOOD DESIGN provides advice to the best of its knowledge and belief. Liability for slight negligence is excluded; this does not apply to personal injury. In particular, construction work, structural and building services decisions, regulatory matters and craftsmanship are not covered. No liability is accepted for implementation by third parties or for decisions and purchases made by clients on their own responsibility.
13. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
14. Final provisions
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. For consumers, mandatory protective provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. The place of jurisdiction for disputes with businesses is Vienna. Should any provision of these T&C be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
